Every loves to get away from it all, escaping the boring monotony of everyday life, don’t we?
One of my favourite ways to do this is an evening at the theatre. I am not sure why I hold these mini outings in such high esteem, but I just find the experience truly magical!
I mean, yes TV, radio and all the other forms of escapism have their place, of course they do! – But for me, they all pale into insignificance when compared with a show at Londons West End!
One of the best ways to enjoy a show at the West End, in my opinion, is with a theatre break.

You see, one of the bad points with going to see a theatre show, is the shock you tend to feel when you leave the magical world of the stage behind, and return to the ‘real’ world.
With a theatre break, you get to see the show of your choice, and then, when the performance is over, you transport yourself to a top London hotel, to carry on the magical feeling that the theatre gives you.
Then you awake to a full English breakfast the next day! – What better way to spend a weekend?
I usually spend the remainder of the next day taking in a few of the sights that London has to offer, such as a 30min trip up the London eye, before I return home feeling well and truly refreshed!
