Phones4u Respond Efficiently to Consumer Complaint About Their Tewkesbury Branch…

March 25th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

This report is a follow-up from a previous complaint that was made to us about phones4u in tewksbury. The post in question can be located here

After the publication of the above linked report, a senior customer care representitive from Phones4u contacted Mr. Hall via the email address he requested be shown in the piece.

A short but efficient email conversation between Mr. Hall and the Phones4u representitive ensued, and the full facts were explaind to all parties.

After an internal investigation into the matter, Phones4u re-contacted Mr. Hall with news that:

We have concluded the investigation into the incident you kindly reported regarding the Tewksbury store.

We have identified a procedural issue in that we have recently implemented a new process that is designed to provide customers with clear and consistent information regarding our mobile phone insurance propositions, in line with new guidelines from the FSA that are due to come into effect in September 2009. It appears that the communication of said process has been not to the standard we would normally expect and as such the interpretation of the execution of the process has, in this case, been taken to the extreme whereby the sales consultant concerned has acted in an over zealous nature believing that all customers have to sign the documentation, which is clearly not the case.

Therefore, we have not only re-educated the sales consultant related to your issue, but have completed a entire retail estate re-brief (all 453 stores) of the requirements of this new process and the correct execution of it. I shall also be monitoring this situation very closely.

Once again, I thank you for taking the time to inform us of this unfortunate incident and apologise for any inconvenience or distress this may have caused you. I hope that you will accept that Phones4U have acted responsibly in dealing with this issue and that you have the confidence that our subsequent actions will prevent any further repetition.

Mr. Hall stated to us that he feels the matter has been taken seriously by Phones4u, and they have seemingly acted in a very responsive manner to his complaint.

The kingpin team would also like to take the opportunity to thanks the phones4u representitive for their swift and fair actions regarding this matter, it is a credit to the company that they take such complaints seriously, and after a chat with Mr. Hall via instant messenger, it is obvious to us that their apology is appreciated by him.

As Phones4u now have Mr. Halls email address, kingpin-seo feel it would be nice if any special offers phones4u run in the near future are sure to make it to Mr Hall’s inbox!

Once again, it is a pleasant surprise to see a company actually respond to a consumer complaint, especially in such a swift manner.

Compare Gas And Electricity Prices With One Click

March 24th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

Lower global fuel prices have made everyone conscious of the economic ties of crude oil to the consumer pocketbook. As airfares took off during the last price spiral people throughout the UK kept track of how all fossil fuels seem attached by speculation. This has resulted in a situation where people everywhere want to be certain they are paying a fair price for the fuels they consume. This applies to petrol of course, but carries further into the real of home energy costs. Checking prices at the pump are simple enough as they are displayed for the entire world to see. But how does one check up on electricity prices?

Simple, just visit EnergyChoices.co.uk. Energy Choices is a member of the Consumer Choices network and as such is dedicated to assisting United Kingdom’s citizens keep a tight rein on their consumables costs. For energy this means gas and electricity. Energy Choices has placed directly on the front page of their website a free tool that can be used to compare gas and electricity prices. Anyone can use the tool, as all that is required is to fill in your Postcode and click for results. All of the prices and deals offered by energy suppliers in your area are noted. You can then, if a reasonable difference between one seller and yours is discovered, arrange to switch gas or electricity supplier right on the Energy Choices website.

Lower Fuel Prices Spark Opportunities For Lower Electricity Prices

March 24th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

Most electricity in the United Kingdom is generated via power fossil fuel burning power plants. These operate burning either coal, (seems there is still a bit of it left in Britain) or natural gas. Although neither of these are factor in the cost of petrol, they are tied to overall fossil fuel consumption and as such rise and fall along with the price of crude oil. The recent downturn in world oil prices shocked most of the world. Indeed all UK energy providers were forced to lower prices commensurate with the downturn in their electricity costs. Unfortunately not every UK energy supplier has seen fit to pass on their savings to the consumer. While many firms adjusted their price structure, including lowering the base level for fixed price energy contracts, quite a few were content to keep mum on the subject and allow their regular customers to continue paying higher prices.

If your electricity prices did not fall over the last 6 months you need to compare gas and electricity prices. This is easily done at Energychoices.co.uk. Energy Choices is the leading consumer energy savings website on the Internet. At their site you will find a quick and easy electricity price comparison tool that will allow you to see firsthand what all of the energy suppliers in you location are charging. Hopefully your energy supplier is giving you a fair and honest deal. But if that is not the case you can follow a few simple instructions also found on the energy choices site and change to a better deal.

How does a Commercial EPC differ from an EPC?

March 24th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

From 1st October 2008 an EPC or Energy Performance Certificate will be a legal requirement for all new builds and will be required before a landlord may let or a home owner may sell their property. But… what does this mean for buyers and sellers, how much will it cost and what are the benefits?

The EPC is intended to augment the HIPs (Home Information Packs) which are designed to give prospective buyers access to key information about a property so no ‘little surprises’ appear later in the buying process- or indeed after the purchase. The EPC evaluates key features of the property such as the floor area, the construction of the walls, floor and roof whether or not the windows are double glazed, what sort of heating/hot water systems are installed and what sort of lighting the property utilises. The report grades the property on its energy efficiency and its environmental impact in the same way modern appliances are rated – A-G with A being the highest standard. Although the EPC is a further legislative hurdle for sellers, the impact of the EPC has been well received as it gives at-a-glance facts and figures to a prospective buyer and certainly recognises good practice and improvements implemented by the current owner.

A key feature of the EPC is its focus on possible improvements. One section of the report considers what improvements could be made and shows the potential savings to the home owner should they implement the improvements and the potential energy efficiency rating. Given the potential savings a home owner could make should they implement the recommendations of an EPC it is worth considering even if there is no intention to sell the property. An EPC is valid for ten years, so the investment may pay for itself several times over before it needs updating.

With effect from 4th January 2009 the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive dictates that a Commercial EPC will be required upon construction, sale or lease for all non-dwellings. This effects all properties from warehouses to office units. Although separate from a domestic EPC most EPC providers are licensed to provide both domestic and commercial certificates and some of the more established agents can provide not only the certificate but also carry out any improvements it suggests.

Record Breaking Savings Attributed To Tool For Finding Lower Energy Prices

March 23rd, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

It seems that a simple online tool to compare energy prices is responsible for people saving hundreds of pounds on their yearly energy costs. Until using the free local energy price comparison tool at EnergyChoices.co.uk thousands of UK citizens were unaware they often pay twice as much as their neighbours for gas and electricity. How is this possible? It is certainly hard to fathom that households just a kilometre apart could be charged such a price disparity. Yet a simple free tool at energychoices.co.uk seems to constantly reveal this. As reported at energy choices, within the last 90 days the average savings for customers who compare energy prices and then choose a lower cost supplier is well over £300 pounds. How is this possible?

UK energy customers have always been surprised by the differences in prices between one energy provider and the next. Usually his disparity was limited to around 20%. Of late that figure has risen due to an overall plummet in fuel costs. Some energy companies have attempted to reap windfall profits as their costs to produce energy have fallen. They simply have not kept pace with price decreases offered to end-users. Because of this when current customers of these companies compare energy prices they invariable discover that they are being overcharged. With the assistance of web sites such as EnergyChoices.co.uk they switch suppliers and proceed to pocket tremendous savings. At energy Choices it takes but seconds to compare energy prices and only minute to arrange for a new lower priced supplier.

Single Customer Saves Over £2000 On Their Yearly Energy Prices

March 23rd, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

Energy Choices, United Kingdom’s premier energy prices comparison website has recently helped UK residents have almost two thousand pounds from their yearly energy costs. Thousands of people in the UK use the helpful free energy price comparison tool offered at enerychoices.co.uk and a large percentage of these discover they can save several hundred pounds yearly on their cost for gas and electricity while saving money with assistance from Energy Choices is not a surprise, the size of the reduction in costs one customer received is rather astounding. Within the last 60 days savings gained after using the onsite free to compare energy prices have averaged almost £300.00 but that pales in comparison to one person’s savings of 2249 pounds just for switching energy suppliers.

Everyone agrees that using the energy Choices energy price comparison tool could not be easier. Just type your postcode into the front-page box and within seconds you will see which energy suppliers in your location offer the lowest prices and the highest incentives for switching to their company.

For the time being energy prices are somewhat stable, but no one believes that status will hold for long. Now is the time to compare rates for both monthly and fixed rate energy costs so that when the price upturn begins you will be protected.

You may not be the next record breaking energy costs saver at EnergyChoices.co.uk, but you will never be aware of your potential savings if you do not take at the few minutes required to do a home energy costs survey.

British Gas Homecare Offers A Flexible Definition Of An Emergency

March 22nd, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

Apparently semantics are drifting into the realm of home service contracts. Home service companies such as British Gas and HomeCall are fiercely competitive with one another. So much so that they constantly change there prices and terms of service to attempt to offer their customers a little more than each other and their lesser competitors. While BG and Home call are long established repair firms, many newer companies are attempting to lure away their customers with clever wording. As reported in Energy Choices, the United Kingdom’s leading information resource on methods to lower your energy bill, these lower standards of quality companies lure customers in with exceedingly low rates only to have the people discover that their definition of that which qualifies for fast service is somewhat skewed. British Gas boiler cover includes unlimited call outs that are not based on the degree of your emergency. If you are a customer signed up for British Gas Homecare and you want a service call, you receive one promptly with no questions asked.

The lower quality contractors do not offer a 24-hour contact line and when you do reach them they query you as to what constitutes an emergency. For many of these repair providers a loss of hot water is not a valid concern. Energy Choices also reports that most of these low price repair alternatives insist on long-term contracts. So that when you discover that their service is less than you had hoped for you are locked in for at least one year.

Theatre breaks – Take a Break from the Credit Crunch!

March 22nd, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

West End theatre shows tend to sell out fast, oftentimes making it difficult to get decent tickets to see the show you want. These days however, there is a much better way of getting a ticket if you are internet savvy.

If the credit crunch has had any impact on the theatre, it is that more people are looking for bargains. The internet is without doubt one of the best places to get these.

It is also possible to save money by combining a ticket to the theatre with a night at a hotel into a package deals, this sort of deal is called a ‘Theatre Break’.

British Gas Boiler Cover Customers Trade Up To British Gas Homecare

March 21st, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

British Gas has recently issued statistics showing that fully 60% of their customers previously enlisted for boiler cover have upgraded their coverage by contracting for British Gas Homecare. This unique home systems protection plan expands the insurance offered as British Gas Boiler Cover to include protection for mechanical failure for all of your home’s systems.

With the average call out from an engineer in the United Kingdom costing upwards of £50.00 it is not surprising that so many customers already pleased with the quality of service British Gas offers have opted to rely on BG for total home protection. British Gas Homecare allows one to cover all electrical, heating and air-conditioning and plumbing systems in their home. Cover for major appliances can also be included. With a fast response time due to the 14 hour help line most customers find that they can expect a visit from one of the over 5000 British Gas engineers in far less time than that from a private contractor.

Of course BG engineers are certified professionals so there is never a concern over qualifications or experience. British Gas Homecare does not require that one sign up for a long-term contract. This allows you the ability to adjust your terms of service at any time. For example, there is no need to pay for boiler cover should you switch to a new heating and air-conditioning system that does not use a boiler. And if you upgrade your kitchen with new appliances that are under warranty that cover can be excluded as well. Another major factor that customers say led them to choose British Gas Homecare was the free annual boiler inspection. This normally cost £50 to £100 and is a safety requirement. These are a few of the reasons that customers are intensely loyal to British Gas. Complete information on British Gas Homecare along with unbiased home service contract reviews is available at EnergyChoices.co.uk. Energy Choices is a free online energy comparison resource.

Onda vx747 Favoured as an affordable MP4 Player.

March 21st, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

In these tough financial times many people cut down on their purchase of luxury items, such as the latest technological gadets. Others, however, still purchase such items, but seek to find cheaper alternatives to the big brands.

MP4 Players are no exception to this, with consumers opting for brands that, although less well known here in the UK, are highly respected in their countries of origin.

One such MP4 Player is the Onda devices. Onda make a range of high quality MP3 and MP4 players, with a wide range of features. One of the best sellers in Onda’s range appears to be the Onda vx747.

The vx747 is a touch screen MP4 player, allowing for playback of just about any audio or video format, which is more than can be said of most ‘name brand’ UK products.

A 3″ touch screen is the main interfact for the machine, and the battery life is said to be around 6hrs max whilst watching videos, and roughly double that when solely listening to audio.

Although not a ‘name brand’ UK product, you don’t have to fly to Asia to buy one of these funky little MP4 players. There are websites that are based here in the UK, who accept secure payments via Google Checkouts, and offer next day shipping for orders placed before 3pm. One such UK based online retailer can be found by clicking here.

Abbey Mortgages Attempts To Reestablish The Flow Of Credit To Consumers

March 20th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

Worldwide lender Abbey mortgages has seemed to weather the economic storm and is now preparing to reestablish a steady flow of new consumer loans and mortgages. While most financial institutions around the world are being accused of increasing the credit crunch by refusing valid loan opportunities Abbey has countered the trend by setting up strict new lending guidelines. While these newer terms might seem harsh they are only a response to losses incurred during the economic speculative fever of 2004 – 2007. Those freewheeling policies resulted in the near collapse of the world’s banking system and today’s tougher lending policies. The days of house buyers with low income qualifying for 100% mortgages are long ended. In their replacement are rules requiring from 10 to 20 percent placed as deposit on any property purchase.

Renowned consumer credit online resource Credit Choices reports that according to the council of mortgage lenders the average deposit on first time homebuyers last year was 22%. This represents a sharp rise over the aforementioned period. Still these recent buyers are receiving lower interest rates due to the competitiveness of the UK mortgage market. It is almost a contradiction that while fewer lenders want to loan out funds, preferring to stand pat on their portfolios, interest rates have fallen for those buyers able to come up with the larger initial payment.

Data provided from Credit Choices shows that buyers with a deposit of from 21 to 25% will actually receive a mortgage almost a full percent lower than those with a 10% deposit.

Supermarket Credit Cards Are Often Interest Free Credit Cards

March 20th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

It is funny how people look at my Sainsbury’s and oddly when I use it to make purchases at other stores. I have no idea why they think that the card should be limited to just the supermarket. One thing they are probably unaware of is that many supermarket credit cards are also interest free credit cards. This incentive is usually short lived meaning there is a term set to the free ride on the interest but by switching cards from time to time a smart user can avoid almost all the extra charges. Supermarkets offer these great terms as an inducement to apply for their cards. Although the interest free period is usually only 6 months long it can still offer great savings. This is especially true when one needs to make a major purchase and would like a little time to save the funds for paying it off.

Supermarket credit cards and all the other kinds of cards are explained completely at CreditChoices.co.uk. Credit Choices has reviews about every credit card deal available in the UK with complete explanations of the terms and rates. You can even apply directly for credit cards from the Credit Choices site. This is far preferable to applying at your bank as with online credit applications you can choose a card that gives you a loan decision almost instantly. Before you apply for any credit card it is highly recommended that you research all of the cards available at creditchoices.co.uk.

Online Internet Shopping Portal Helps Shoppers Compare Prices of Electronic Goods, and More

March 19th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

GoShopping

GoShopping.com is a great website that re-launched in December of 2008, providing a relatively unique service in the world of online shopping.

The website provides a platform for online shops to market and list their goods, free of charge. Back in December, during the opening month, the website became positively packed full of products, with 200 categories and a grand total of 40’000 products available.

The GoShopping.com website is one of the most recent and innovative portal style sites, which are in general growing ever more popular by providing shoppers with a much wider range of choice when shopping for goods online.

Buying PC Games and Portable DVD Players Online

Although GoShopping.com sells pretty much everything from health and beauty products to kids clothing, reportedly the most popular products so far have been consumer electronics. PC Games, portable DVD players and TV Tuner Cards top the bill of the big sellers list. This is hardly surprising, because most online shoppers tend to be keen on keeping up to date with the latest technology. Using a site like GoShopping.com however, keeping well stocked with the latest gadgets doesn’t have to cost a small fortune. On the site, you can compare prices of all the latest electronic goods, and many, many more products.

Shopping online has never been so easy, or valuable. It is also worth mentioning that you shouldn’t worry about credit card fraud when using GoShopping.com, due in part to their partnership with leading retailers, such as Amazon.com, goods bought via the GoShopping website have the checkout process made via the end merchant, oftentimes Amazon, or another secure estore, meaning your internet shopping experience should be a safer one.

GoShopping.com fully expects to see their visitor numbers reach the 20’000 per day mark, so make sure that you visit GoShopping.com, and see what they have to offer you!.

0 Balance Transfers Are Not Always Interest Free Credit Cards

March 19th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

Most credit card holders are constantly receiving offers in the post to allow them a 0 balance transfer to another credit card issuer. These deals seem great. One can transfer the entire amount owed on one card to a new one and not have to pay any interest on the old balance for almost 15 months. If you qualify these can be great offers. However many people confuse 0 balance transfers with interest free credit cards. These are hardly the same animal. A zero balance transfer lets you move your debt sideways onto a different card. But to do so you will need to pay a premium of a few percent and should you use your card for new purchases the new charges will be subject to a higher rate. Also you must still make a set minimum payment each month or be liable to have the interest rate on your entire balance, both the old and the new raised substantially.

Interest free credit cards are exactly that. These are credit cards that charge no interest whatsoever. You will sometimes have to pay a yearly charge for having the card but if you use your card quite a bit that fee is inconsequential. As with any credit card one must really examine all the details before accepting and using the card. Oddly enough a few card issuers such as Sainsbury’s offer credit cards that are both 0 balance transfer and interest free. To compare all of the best deals on credit cards available in the United Kingdom and worldwide visit Creditchi9ces.co.uk. They are personal finance experts and never charge for their knowledge shared.

MP4 Players – Cheaper Online, but is it Safe?

March 19th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

MP4 players are one of the most popular consumer devices, giving the ability not just to listen to music, but to watch music videos or even movies as well. Where is the best place to buy an MP4 player, and what brand is best?

Like most pieces of techy kit, the online marketplace is usually a fair bit cheaper than buying in a high street store. Nonetheless, some people prefer to shop in a physical store rather than online, due to fears of online scams and credit card fraud. Internet savvy shoppers however know how to buy safely, so let us give you the lowdown on how to shop safer online (we are not qualified experts, this is simply our opinion, based on years of working on the internet).

Firstly, whilst buying electronics direct from Asia may seem appealing, you may have to try pretty hard at spotting the decent stores from the scammers. It is much safer to buy from a website based in your own country. Additionally, many Asian stores, despite having paypal badges on their site, online actually accept money transfers as a payment method. This leaves you with an increased risk. This nicely leads us on to our next point:

Secondly, once you have chosen a business based in your own country, look for a known and trusted payment method. Although paypal is VERY well know, many people are of the misguided impression that shopping with paypal means they are 100% protected in all instances… whilst this is for the MOST PART true, you should be aware that there are a few exclusions. For example, when buying digital goods or services, you will find less protection than when buying physical goods. As MP4 players are physical goods, this doesn’t really affect you. Another tried and trusted payment system is Google Checkout. Google Checkout or paypal would both be pretty good payment systems for buying MP4 Players online.

Finally, look for somewhere that offers the option of a speedy delivery service. Businesses that are able to get your order to you quickly, may well be more efficiently run generally, and able to best deal with your order.

An example of a business that offers all of the above is this website. They offer next day delivery on orders placed before 3pm, accept payments via the trusted Google Checkout, and are based in the UK. This, coupled with a great range of MP4 players, makes them a wise choice.

Get A Credit Rating Check Before You Apply For Adverse Credit Cards

March 18th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

It is almost impossible to live today without having some kind of credit card. If you wish to reserve a flight, hire a car or even stay at a hotel a credit card is essential. Unfortunately many people have questionable credit thus making it very difficult to receive a credit card. They then apply for what is known as adverse credit cards. These cards charge a higher rate of interest as compensation for taking a greater risk in lending. Put simply they loan money to people they are not sure will pay it back. This risk is spread among all adverse credit card holders through a higher rate and tougher terms. There are plenty of good reasons to use these cards such as their wide acceptance when traveling but before anyone pays 30 and even 40% per annum in interest they should be absolutely certain they couldn’t get a better deal on a more conventional credit card. The way to be sure you are getting the best deal your credit entitles you to is to arrange for a credit rating check. This is easily done through Creditchoices.co.uk. Credit Choices is a free personal finance management library filled with helpful knowledge and tools.

Currently there are three major credit-reporting companies in the UK. Any of these can get you a copy of your credit rating. Knowing this rating before you apply for a credit card allows you to negotiate better deals and apply for cards with the best rates of interest. At the Credit Choices site there are many helpful credit rating check offers from all of the United Kingdom’s best reporting agencies. Your credit report will help you if you are applying for any kind of loan. Banks and credit card companies don’t look for ways to give you their lowest rate. You must demand it and to do so you must know where your credit rating stands.

Mortgage Protection Is More Important Without 100% Mortgages

March 18th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

The recent economic downturn has made banks around the world tighten their grip on lending. If anyone wishes to purchase a new house today they had better plan on scrounging up at least a ten percent deposit. The days of 100% mortgages are gone forever. No doubt as financial instruments tied to indexes raised rates to the point where homeowners faced repossession many banks were left with customers opting to walk away from their houses and the attached debt. False highs on home prices means that these debts will never be recovered and that lenders will write off huge losses.

Consumers will need to pay these large deposits so that banks feel that buyers have too large a vested interest to leave behind. And new homebuyers will want to be sure that they can meet the monthly due on their house. With as much as 20% of the house value invested, early buyers can’t afford to find themselves unable to meet the payments. Credit Choices, a United Kingdom consumer finance consultation website reports that mortgage protection is being sought after as a stopgap plan to cover one’s personal housing investment. In other times mortgage protection was used as a measure to cover in the event of injury or illness. It covers ones house payment for one year in the event of either. Today the primary reason people purchase mortgage protection is so that in the event they are made redundant that important portion of their monthly bills will be paid.

Are UK Homeowners Wasting Money…

March 17th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

wasting-moneyConsumer magazine Which? Stated that only around 15% of householders switched energy providers in a 12 month period, despite the large potential savings involved. With the current financial climate, one would think more people would be jumping on the energy bill saving bandwagon…

Why Don’t More People Compare Energy Prices?

Considering the fact that most UK householders (probably safe to say householders worldwide!) are trying to tighten the purse strings these days, at first it seems confusing that so few of them switched energy providers last year.
One possible reason may be that consumers are simply unaware of the potential savings involved with switching energy providers. Everyone seems to be focused on comparing their options as regards to their credit obligations, such as 0 balance transfers, but may not actually realise that large savings can be had by comparing energy prices.

How do I Compare Energy Prices?

Another possible reason that many people don’t compare energy prices, is they feel that despite the possible savings, they perhaps feel that the level of effort needed to get the best deals is just too daunting.
In reality, this couldn’t really be further from the truth. If you have the internet, for example, a visit to an energy comparison website can be a huge help. For the best results, look for an energy comparison website that gives more than just an energy prices checker, rather find a site with articles and news about energy related matters, as these sites will generally be more up to date and accurate.

Do The Math With A Mortgage Calculator Or Saving Calculator

March 17th, 2009 by writer | No Comments | Filed in Press Releases

Far too often we trust in others and in machines to add up sums for us. Let’s admit it. When we go shopping at the department store do we allow the cash register to total our purchases or do we take out pen and pad and double check the addition? Of course we let the machines do the work. And if we are slighted on a can of soup it is no great tragedy. But what if that can of soup cost as much as a house? We still trust in our lender to calculate the amortised costs of our mortgage. This may not be wise as a person had to fill the data into that loan program and people can make mistakes. You could end up unknowingly paying tens of thousands of pounds extra over the cost of a home loan.

Before you sign on the dotted line run your numbers through the free mortgage calculator at creditchoices.co.uk. Credit Choices has several of these free financial tools including a savings calculator.

There is never a charge for help from credit choices and the total knowledge offered on the site is immense. There is complete data on current credit card deals as well as information on personal loans. You can even apply for loans directly on the Credit Choices site and receive a yea or nay within minutes. The mission of CreditChoices.co.uk is to help people understand all of the personal finance decisions. Theatre Breaks… Something Special

March 10th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in General News

We all like to escape the boredom of everyday life every so often don’t we? I know I do!

One of my favourite methods of escapism is a night at the theatre. Its hard to say why, but when compared to pretty much all other modes of escapism, A live show at the theatre is by far the most engulfing, intense and magic

TV and Movies do have their places, but a live stage show is simply unbeatable, especially, for me at least, a musical.

Swift Return to Normality

After the show has ended however, the real world comes crashing back into being around me, the magic of the stage all too quickly becomes a distant memory in the shadow of the journey home on the train, or, god forbid, a drive through central London.

This is where the theatre breaks comes in, as once the show is over, rather than returning to your real life with a jolt, you retreat to a top notch London hotel to sustain the magic. When you awake, you get a full English breakfast, which should just about prepare you for your return to the ‘real’ world.

This all sounds quite expensive I know, but in actual fact a theatre break of this nature can costs as little as £100! – and can work out significantly cheaper than buying a theatre ticket and night at a decent hotel seperately.

Theatre Breaks – A Romantic Night For 2?

Theatre breaks can be a very romantic affair. A nights entertainment at a live West End show, followed by a night at a luxurious London hotel… and a full breakfast in the morning to help you prepare for the end of the weekend!

Phones4u in Tewkesbury Causes Distress to Consumer by Use of Hard Sell on Phone Insurance.

March 9th, 2009 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in General News

The following statement was received by kingpin-seo press release site in relation to the Phones4u Tewkesbury branch. The consumer in question asked us to air their grievance with the store, after a frustrating and futile conversation with a member of staff.

Phones4u Complaint

I went into phones4u in Tewkesbury I asked about laptop deals they sat me down took my details phone number address etc. I said no need to write anything down as I was only inquiring but they were adamant in doing so, she said it was their policy I said again I would rather they didn’t but she still did, we got chatting about laptops and internet dongles I told her which ones worked here but she still had to look it up on her computer she didn’t really have a clue about laptops.

Then out of the blue she showed me a form /leaflet about insurance asked me if I understood it I said yes then she proceeded to fill in another form with my details and asked me sign it and I refused she said I had to sign it and I replied with I don’t have to sign anything as I was only inquiring about the deals she asked me again I again refused got up out of the chair and left the shop. I wondered if all phones for you shops were the same ?

Any representative of Phones4U should contact: [email removed] for more information about the complaint. Any response will be posted here, to show their level of customer care.

UPDATE: Phones4u came good with regards this complaint. They have acted responisbly to the issue, and details on this can be found here: Phones4u Tewkesbury
