BRISTOL, December 2009 – Suaju Ltd, one of the UK’s top Lean Consulting companies has recently attended the ‘Outsourcing – Delivering Success 09′ at Central Hall, Westminster, London. The event, which was well attended, was run on the 26th November 2009. The conference aim was to outline the public sector financial and policy context for outsourcing. It looked at future trends in the outsourcing field and had many keynote speakers. The overview for the conference was to look at 3 important areas of outsourcing namely providing a detailed outsourcing legal update to the attendees, how to develop a successful outsourcing strategy for all businesses and how to deliver a cost-effective outsourcing project and how to learn from the lessons of the past.

One of the main speakers,Clive Parminter, Public Sector lead for Business Process Outsourcing, Capgemini, spoke on the subject of ‘Public Sector Outsourcing: is it a case of If or When and How’ which companies like Suaju would have been fascinated by. The use of outsourcing as a viable solution for private businesses of all sizes has been well established over the last decade but this address finally shows that it is time for the public sector to embrace this liberating business policy. With so many of the public institutions facing funding cuts over the next few years, it seems that outsourcing may prove to be a very valuable asset in the maintenance of services in the face of dwindling funds for in house services.
