Over 3 Days to Walk From Kings Cross to The Angel With Google Maps – A long walk to SES London!!!
On a lighter note than usual…
Many of the staff here at kingpin seo agency don’t like London tubes much – something about being cramped in underground with lots of other sweaty people puts them in a bad mood…
So when planning Kingpin-SEO’s excursion to SES London, one staff member, Mark, decided to see how long it would take to walk from Kings Cross to the Angel.
Working for an SEO agency, and having a lot of respect for might G, it is only natural that Mark turned to Google Maps to find out…
When Beta Means Beta!
Unfortunately, Mark will not be paid overtime for this trip – as we don’t feel a trip to SES London means Mark should get a holiday to Brugge, Belgium!
To be fair, as seen in the piccy below, Google Maps does state:
“Walking directions are in beta. Use caution – This route may be missing sidewalks or pedestrian paths.”
– Yep, Like the bit in the North Sea!!!

Google Maps’ suggested route took Mark from Glasgow to Edinburgh, followed by a short ferry ride to Brugge!!! The route then saw Mark cross over back to England before walking his was to The Angel!
Now, obviously when Mark typed Kings Cross into the search bar, he did pop it in as two words, however Google Maps seems to have ‘corrected’ that little typo, as obviously Mark loves walking so much, that he wants to walk from Scotland to London, via the Belgium! (Sorry Mark, I mean it… NO OVERTIME for this little excursion, I think the tax man would have serious questions!!!)
